Funded by the schools and the Arts Council of Fayetteville/Cumberland County, North Carolina, whose mission is: to provide artist-based activities for K-12 students in Cumberland County—to integrate the arts into the basic curriculum while encouraging interaction between students, teachers and professional artists.  Below is a letter from the Dillard Center for the Arts in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where the Ammons Sisters conducted a writing/visual art workshop for teachers.
